Super Heros
It would come naturally to me to say that my husband is my super hero. I won't say he has made me who I am today, but has helped me come out of my shell, so to speak. He is a very good and generous husband and a fabulous father. I really couldn't ask for anything more. I also would like to give kudos where it's due and that would be to every other wife and/or mothers. There are times when we should be thought of as the super heros!! Who else can carry 5+ bags of groceries, a diaper bag, a baby carrier, a purse (mind you it weighs 10 lbs), and a small child in 3 foot of snow, a mile (it feels like a mile) from the driveway to the house and not dropping a thing (or person) while digging for your keys in the 10 lb purse to unlock the door. Need I say more? How about getting a call from unexpected visitors that they are 45 minutes away and would like to stay with you for a week?! This happened to me a year ago. My father-in-law calls to say he wanted to surprise us and drove 17 hours to spend a week with us! Holy Cow!! I haven't done any of my usual cleaning all week (yes, I do allow myself to be lazy once in a while), so needless to say, my house really was a wreck! Of course, my father-in-law,dad, always sings praises about me and my house-now I really feel like a slob!! After the phone call, the one about being 45 minutes away, I busted ass and got my house from top to bottom, back to front, side to side, clean. I'm not talking pick things up here and there clean. I mean dusting the ceiling fans clean!! So in conclusion, I am my other super hero!!

Just your average, ordinary, everday super hero. It's what I always wanted to be when I grew up! Except Moms make it look easy:o)
